Suitability for Telehealth

Referral Criteria for Telehealth Psychiatry

The Primrose Clinic provides outpatient telehealth psychiatric care for patients who are clinically appropriate for Telehealth-only care. The following situations are unsuitable for outpatient telehealth psychiatry: acute or escalating risk of harm to self or others, a recent suicide attempt, active psychosis or mania, or significant substance intoxication or withdrawal, as well as significant, ongoing self‑harm behaviours.
